LOACA.ART was founded by Artist and Printmaker, Freida McKitrick and Jewellery Design-Maker, Angela Hinchcliffe to provide opportunities for Merseyside and North West based artists and makers.
Freida and Angela are especially keen to help those just starting out in their career and also artists and makers who are somewhere in between. Thier aim is to hold exhibitions and events in venues that are not normally open to creatives at this stage in their career.
By organising contemporary craft & art events they also aim to raise public awareness and appreciation of the work of local artists and craft-based artisans.
