Initially Jo’s work was inspired by observational sketches of her pet dogs. She uses free machine embroidery to draw seeing her machine needle as the pencil and the fabrics as the paint.
Jo makes 3d dogs in textile and wire, 3d furniture quilted in textile and wire, quilted textile hangings, free machine embroidered pictures and cards. Cards and pictures can be personalised to order.
